Ricoh Products and Veterans’ Success

Three Ricoh employees are highlighted on the Lifetime TV series “Military Makeover: Operation Career.” Ricoh has a long-standing commitment to hiring and supporting veterans, and in this segment, three Ricoh employees tell their personal stories of how skills they learned in the military transfer to building a successful career in the workplace. Captain Brian Brockson served in the Army and is now serving as the Vice President of Ricoh USA’s supply chain, Cassie Hill served her duty in the National Guard and took her experience to go from a customer service representative to a team lead at Ricoh, and Andrew Janovicz’s four years of active duty in the Marine Corps brought him to a career at Ricoh.

Ricoh USA has increased its hiring of veterans in recent years. They won Best Veteran Hiring Award from the Coalition for Government Procurement and have hosted an event called Run for Heroes for the past five years. Run for Heroes raises funds for veterans’ charities. Ricoh has also partnered with organizations around the United States designed to hire U.S. veterans, and they recruit on military bases in order to assist with the ease of veterans’ transition from military to civilian life. Ricoh values veterans’ service and prioritizes easing the transition from military duty to civilian career by actively recruiting them at job fairs, often on military bases. Not only is Ricoh a leader in digital workplace solutions, but they also are one of the best places a veteran can start a civilian career.
